We worked with Noorish to oversee their rebrand, including a new website, visual content and social media strategy.

 
 

Noorish Vibrant Cuisine in the heart of Edmonton’s Garneau Community

After nearly a decade in the local vegan dining scene, Noorish was ready for a refresh. In November 2018, they underwent a transformation that included a rebrand, interior renovation and new menu. The design and branding concept was Art Deco-inspired; the menu expanded to include a wider range of cuisine, influenced by Edmonton’s local offerings.

 
 

Magic Hour managed the rebrand launch strategy, print marketing materials and a shiny new website. James over at MakeReal Consulting supplied the beautiful new logo and in-house menu designs.


This project was all hands on deck and included the skills and hard work of the staff and local community members to ensure every chair was assembled and coat of paint was perfected. While the Noorish team set to work on construction, Magic Hour handled the launch campaign.

Alongside our digital efforts, we created print marketing materials for a grassroots campaign which included community invites to the Garneau neighbourhood and local businesses.

The Website

We designed the Noorish site to highlight the vision and concept around the restaurant’s rebrand. With the new menu in the works, we focused on the design details and elements of the renovations to give visitors a glimpse of what to expect.

Since launch day, the business (and thus, the website) has undergone more changes. After a series of roadblocks, the Noorish team closed their doors, moving exclusively to an online format after 7 years in the restaurant business. Magic Hour is now working with them to launch an e-commerce store. Visit their site to learn more!

Instagram Strategy

We were excited to get our hands on Noorish’s Instagram account; the food is undeniably beautiful and there was no end to the Art Deco-inspired imagery that accompanied their brand story.

We continue to work with Noorish, freshly rebranded to Noorish Foods and entering their next chapter as online entrepreneurs. Watch for their product line (online soon!) and a cookbook in 2021.
